Our bleed valves are used for releasing the excess pressure that builds up in electric geared motors due to the heat produced, while simultaneously preventing the loss of oil from the gearbox housing.
Sensitivity is called for here because the oil foam caused by the heat only collapses at pressures above 0.1 bar.
Furthermore, a cleverly thought-out labyrinth in the valve head also prevents the ingress of moisture and dirt into the insides of the gearbox.
Special accessories provide additional security during transport and protection under extremely dirty conditions.
