For over 50 years, we have been training machining mechanics in the field of automatic turning systems and offer you a solid, practicaltraining in a modern work environment. From the beginning, you will get to know all production-related departments, take on exciting tasks, and apply your knowledge directly in apprentice projects. You will be intensively supported by our two trainers and other training supervisors.
At the beginning, you will start with the other apprentices in the basic metal course in our training workshop. Here you will learn the most important basic skills such as filing, drilling, turning, milling, and grinding in a project work. At the same time, you will receive theoretical knowledge at the Vocational School in Simmern.
After the basic course, we will prepare you specifically for the first of two final exams. After 1 ½ years, you can demonstrate your theoretical knowledge and practical skills. At this point, you will already work independentlyandresponsibly to be optimally prepared for your professional future.
Before completing your training, you will be intensively trained on high-precision, computer- and curve-controlled automatic lathes. After a total of 3 ½ years, with the successful completion of the second exam, you will have your successful qualification as a machining mechanic in hand - and thus very good chances of a secure, well-paid job with us. In addition to your professional training, you have the opportunity to participate in training fairs and Azubi-Champions to gain valuable insights and new experiences. Getting to Dorweiler is also not a problem - many of our employees come from the Hunsrück region, and there are always opportunities for carpooling.

A school internship is possible from the age of 13.
A voluntary internship can usually be done from the age of 15.
To start an apprenticeship at heinrichs drehteile, you should be at least 15 years old.
Your working hours during the apprenticeship are from 06:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
Your salary is based on the IG Metall collective agreement.
